Sales and Marketing Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager – Sales and Marketing (MAS Noyon – Biyagama)

Since its inception in 2004, Noyon Lanka is the only knitted lace manufacturer in South Asia that works with global brands to create lace fabric that’s unique, functional in the final garment and of the highest quality. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual join our Noyon Marketing team in Biyagama to maximize sales opportunities through close liaison with the global sales teams / intermediaries or through direct interaction with customers, as appropriate, in line with the agreed customer pricing / service strategies and to develop the product portfolio in line with the above strategy in order to achieve the annual sales revenue/profit budget of the organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain effective customer relationships whilst consolidating supplier and customer related liabilities
Accurate accounting, profitability, and revenue management
Be the link/voice of the customer with regards to product development from the time of receipt of customer requirements
Maintain constant communication (via visits and telephone) with both current and potential customers, be readily available to solve any issues
Identify service levels for each customer, document relevant procedures and monitor and report on time
Gain a thorough understanding of customer procedures and identify acceptable service levels for each assigned customer.
Coordinate with Planning/Production with regards to the following and ensure that progress of bulk manufacturing/delivery is in-line with the plan/ customer requirements.
Complete all required documentation and ensure order management is carried out effectively within the organization.
Ensure pricing strategies employed are consistent and achievable.
Provide market intelligence /inputs (voice of the customer) etc. towards development of an innovative and marketable range/novelty collection taking into consideration aspects such as design newness/price/ innovation etc.
Work as a support role (cross function or in the absence of the superior) within the Sales & Marketing team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in Marketing or Management with CIM Full Qualification or equivalent Sales & Marketing Qualification
3-4 Years Experience in Customer Service
Experience in Bulk operation/Merchandising/Manufacturing Environment will be added advantage
