FACTORY MANAGER – BEng MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Location – Biyagama

Your primary responsibilities includes,

Ensure efficient and continuous operation of a complex manufacturing plant. Identify and implement technologies for low cost manufacturing.
Achieve lowest reference level production costs in the industry.
Manage the production team and staff.
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders at a senior level.

The ideal candidate should possess:

B. Sc. Engineering (Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum 10 years’ experience after B. Sc. Engineering (Mechanical) in managerial capacity
Proven experience at a senior management level in a manufacturing operation
OR
15 years after Diploma in Mechanical engineering in managerial capacity for at least 10 years.
Excellent operations management and supervision skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical fabrication processes such as CNC, lathe and finishing.
Experience in working with troubleshooting microcontrollers.
