Keells Food Products PLC, a fully owned subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC, is looking for a Quality Assurance Executive (Pannala) who is a team player, detail oriented, self-driven and can work with a wide array of people.

Keells Food Products PLC is the country’s market leader in processed meat products and has held this position for over three decades. Our company possesses ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Certifications. The Company manufactures a range of sausages, meatballs, hams, crumbed products, and soya range products under the “Elephant House” and “Keells Krest” brands.

Job Responsibilities

Assisting with the management of ISO systems, coordinating and conducting internal system audits, conducting management reviews, and assuring the continual improvement of the system.
Coordinating system certification extensions and new standards certifications when required and carrying out the necessary documentation.
Organizing and carrying out a regular inspection of the production process, reviewing, and verifying products and process conformities against the quality specifications.
Managing the internal food testing laboratory, issuing reports required, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
Assisting the Quality Assurance Manager to initiate new projects for quality improvements, such as sustainable development and cleaner production.
Analyzing data to find out the root cause of any customer complaints and internal non-conformities and propose corrective action.
