Officer – Fresh Produce
What you will do
- Train warehouse assistants on operational standards to ensure the quality of vegetables and fruits and the accuracy of the items received,
- Ensure the quality of vegetables and fruits sorted by warehouse assistants (WHA),
- Update and maintain and monitor the documents related to vegetables and fruits received by the organization and issued to the distribution center.
- Efficiently complete the farmer registration process by following the organizational guidelines and documentation requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date documents related to discarded vegetables and fruits and monitor the disposal process properly and maintain the cleanliness of the collection center.
- Check the temperature of the goods before loading them into trucks and monitor the packaging to maintain the quality of the goods and coordinate with the distribution center,
Qualifications you need
- G.C.E. Advanced Level pass.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team and successfully manage challenges.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication is essential.
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set goals with minimal supervision,
