Key purpose of the Job

The Intern – Innovation carries out Design/Develop new technology applications on garment industry

Key Responsibilities:

Identify the most effective method of technology product constructions, working with relevant stakeholders to create garments that are in alignment with the design intent and the product development process, and ensure that bonding specifications are incorporated into the relevant parameter settings.
Work with R&D Engineers on Adhesive validation and select the ideal qualities for the applications.
Perform the required testing to verify the suitability of the proposed combination of adhesive, machine and method for the relevant application/material combination and select required machines and machine settings for development and in-house bulk.
Proactively understand technology requirements of new projects & growth platforms and develop innovative approaches to solving technical challenges to generate meaningful resolutions.
Work with Garment Technical team for garment corrections and pattern making
Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
