The Intern Design is responsible for designing and developing new technology applications in the garment industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and developing new technology applications for the garment industry
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify effective methods for product construction and ensure alignment with design intent and development processes
Support adhesive validation, material testing, and selection of machines and settings for development and production
Conduct research to understand technology requirements for new projects and contribute to innovative solutions for technical challenges
Work with the garment technical team on pattern making and garment corrections

Qualifications

Undergraduate in the field of Fashion Design or Textile Technology from a recognize University/ Institute
Possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills as well as a positive and problem-solving attitude
Sound knowledge in technological product development (Bonding and other related technologies) will be an added advantage
