Production Supervisors / Technical Officer
Job Summary.
Responsible to ensure the continuous and smooth operations of the production/finishing process in the plants
efficiently and effectively as per the approved quality plan, complying with standard operational procedures
and adhering to the internal controls under the guidance and direction of the Management whilst achieving the
expected product quality levels.
The main job functions of this position will include:
- Achieving the production volume by maintaining daily average production rate.
- Managing production team in an efficient & effective way to perform their duties by proper deployment, monitoring, controlling, training, and recognizing of the employees at all the time.
- Ensuring the cost of any type of material, utility, consumables, wastage, rejects or downtime is at the minimum
possible level.
- Ensuring that the finishing process is carried out within the prescribed material consumption levels in an efficient use of energy, people, and other related input variables.
- Maintaining good housekeeping and safe working practice by adhering to the Safety Instructions.
- Ensuring the internal & external customer expectations are met in alignment with company values.
- We seek a dedicated, result oriented young individual with good communication skills and sound personal attributes for the aforementioned position.
The suitable candidate should possess:
- GCE Advanced Level Qualification.
- Professional qualification in relation to Manufacturing/Production management or NVQ 4 0r above qualification in any technical field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 02-03 Years’ hands on experience in a similar type of production process.
- Good knowledge in manufacturing process, machine operations, process control system and people management.
- Have good verbal and written Sinhala & English language proficiency.
