Intern – Convertainer Production (Welisara)
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Engineer in ensuring smooth and continuous production operations.
- Monitor daily production activities, report issues, and support quality checks.
- Coordinate with technicians, workshop teams, and update the Production Engineer on job progress.
- Support shipping, loading, and material-related tasks including SRNs/MRNs to maintain workflow.
- Help manage job data, materials, and cost updates in the Engine system.
- Assist with production scheduling, progress monitoring, and achieving KPIs.
- Participate in product development and follow EHS guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Additional coursework or certifications in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Quality Management will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of basic production processes, materials, and mechanical concepts.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and support production activities under guidance.
- Passed GCE O/L with good results including Mathematics and English.
- Passed GCE A/L in the relevant stream (preferably Physical Science/Engineering Technology).
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
