PURCHASING ASSISTANT – KIDS

We are in search of a dynamic person to join our team of professionals to the role of a PURCHASING ASSISTANT.
Qualifications
- High school level education
- Diploma or Certificate in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile & Apparel Management or an equivalent field.
- 2-4 years of experience in buying or merchandising, preferably in kidswear (Baby, Toddler, Girls and Boys categories)
- Experience in retail fashion or apparel industry with knowledge of local and international brands.
- Ability to analyze sales, forecast trends and plan seasonal assortments.
- Experience in vendor Coordination, price negotiation and quality evaluation.
- Familiarity with fabric types, fits, safety standards and size specifications for children’s clothing
Key Skills
- Strong trend awareness and understanding of the kids wear market.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work closely with design, QC, and retail teams.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or retail planning tools.
