ASSISTANT LECTURER – FASHION DESIGNING
(ESU KANDY)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct lectures for undergraduate/degree programs
- Prepare teaching materials in line with university standards
- Coordinate with module leaders and academic staff
- Act as module leader for selected subjects
- Deliver lectures following curriculum, quality assurance, and compliance standars
- Provide formative feedback to support student progress
- Complete marking, second marking, and moderation within deadlines
- Supervise student research and maintain required documentation
- Lead internal verifications and support external verifications
- Conduct lecturer training sessions
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A four-year degree in Fashion Designing (First or Second Class – Upper Division) with at least 1 year experience
OR - A four-year degree (Second Class – Lower Division) with at least 1 year experience
OR - A three-year degree with Second Class Upper in a relevant field with at least 1 year experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an instructor
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Fashion Designing
- Leadership and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
