JOB ROLE
- Oversee invoicing, ordering, procurement, and inventory management to ensure seamless factory operations.
- Compile and prepare monthly and annual accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Provide crucial management information for monthly and annual accounts contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
- Drive productivity & efficiency by meticulously monitoring manufacturing variances and collaborating with factory operations for continuous enhancements.
- Monitor projects, oversee fixed asset management, and prepare various reports to convey management information for informed decision-making.
- Foster strong relationships both internally and externally, building bridges that elevate our collective success.
- Champion efficiency, implementing strategies to manage costs effectively while ensuring compliance with statutory, legal, financial and tax regulatory requirements.
- Any other tasks or projects as requested by the Management.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Passionate about Sri Lanka; you’re committed to making a positive impact for our Country and its people.
- Fully or partly qualified in ICASL/ACCA/CIMA professional qualification.
- Prior ERP experience is advantageous.
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or in the final semester.
- Experience in finance and accounting within the commercial sector – preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, production, complemented by 2 years of training at a recognized audit firm is a plus.
- Knowledge of internal and external reporting requirements, coupled with exposure to SLFRS & LKAS.
- Excellent IT literacy skills (MS Office package & Microsoft 365 applications) and experience with ERP systems like JDE are advantageous.
- Demonstrated capability to thrive independently, with an eagerness to consistently exceed expectations.
- Good communication skills in English & Sinhala (Tamil is a plus).
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, positive & results oriented with a can-do mindset & ready to take on new challenges.
