The Company is on a rapid expansion drive and is now on the look out for dynamic, proactive and energetic individuals for Cargills Retail (Private) Limited who can spearhead its accelerated investment drive across Sri Lanka.
Accountant
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee annual budgeting process
- Actively participate in business planning process
- Provide periodic financial analysis and forecasting
- Compile and presenting reports, budgets, business plans and commentaries on financial statements
- Assist in developing Internal controls, monitoring compliance and exceptional reporting
- Liaise with various internal and external business partners
- Prepare and present feasibility reports
- Coordinating with internal audit and assist with external auditing
- Supervise operations finance team
Required Skills/Experience
- Age below 30
- Fully qualified or a passed finalist in ICASL / ACCA and / or a bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting from a recognized University.
- Experience in an audit firm is required
- Good analytical, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision to achieve deadlines
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office.
