Assistant Manager – Internal Audit

Duties and Responsibilities

Co-ordinate and facilitate execution of instructions of the Manager Audit/ Group Chief Internal Auditor.
Conducting of Internal Audits including Financial Statement Analysis. Preparation and finalization of Audit Reports in a timely manner.
Liaising with Management to obtain comments,, Evaluate their appropriateness, escalation of violations for further action by relevant Departments and follow-up of implementation of controls.
Coordinating and planning the Audits of the Company including presentation of Final outcome to Manager Audit / Group Chief Internal Auditor and Management.
Assist the Group Investigation function in carrying out Investigations as and when required.
Give proper direction to Audit Teams entrusted with Audits.

Requirements

Completion of Corporate Level of CA Sri Lanka examination according to the current curriculum or equivalent qualifications.
Minimum of 05 years working experience of which 02 years’ experience in a reputed audit firm.
Previous experience in the Automobile Industry would be an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accountancy would be an added advantage.
Hands on experience in MS Office package and working in a computerized environment.
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Strong analytical skills and report writing skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and be able meet deadlines.
Ability to travel as and when required.
