Executive – Stores and Supply Chain (Male) | Polonnaruwa
Araliya Packing Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of Non-Woven Fabric and Bags, located in Polonnaruwa. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stores and Warehouse Executive to join our team. Key Accountabilities
The Stores and Warehouse Executive will be responsible for managing all aspects of our stores and inventory, ensuring smooth operations and optimal stock levels. Your main responsibilities will include
- Inventory Management: Maintaining all inventory records accurately and updated within our ERP-SAP system. • Purchasing: Managing and executing local purchasing activities.
- Supplier Relations: Maintaining up-to-date supplier details and records in the system.
- Market Analysis: Conducting market analysis to determine the appropriate price range for local products and materials.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensuring all stores and warehouse areas are kept in perfect order following 55 standards.
- Waste Control: Taking proactive initiatives for waste control and material optimization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in stores, warehouse, and supply chain management.
- System Knowledge: Practical working experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP, is highly advantageous.
- Skills: Strong organizational, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Standards: A solid understanding and experience in implementing 55 methodology.
Preference
- Gender: Preference will be given to a Male candidate.
- Location: Preference will be given to candidates who are residents of the Polonnaruwa area.
