POST OF MEDICAL ATTENDANT GRADE I (MALE)

Job Scope :

Assist the medical and non-medical staff of the Airport Medical Unit to meet the service objectives. Attend to the needs of the visiting patients and the AASL staff, who come to the medical unit for medical care. Assist the office work of the Medical Unit.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist the Nursing Officer to carry out the day-to-day work of Company Medical Unit
Clean and sterilize the medical and surgical equipment
Prepare and sterilize the dressings.
Take passengers/staff who fell ill and in critical stage to the hospitals by ambulance.
Keep the Medical Unit clean and tidy all the time.
Prepare the bed linen and send the used linen to the laundry.
Assist the nursing staff to check the inventory of Medical Unit.
Assist the medical and non-medical work of the Medical Unit, assist the office work of duty doctor and nursing staff and assist the office work of Company Medical Officer.

Qualifications :

Should pass six (06) subjects in G.C.E. (O/L) examination with English Language & Science/Health Science.
AND
Should possess a valid CPR Certificate from a recognized institute.
AND
A minimum of Four (04) years experience in the relevant field.

Age : Below 35 years on the closing date for applications.

Method of Selection : Selection will be made after a Practical Test and an Interview.

General

Language: Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Sinhala is Skills required. Conversant in Tamil Language will be an added advantage.

The selected candidate will have to perform duties at any location of the company in any part of the Island as and when necessary.
