Sampath Banking Governance officer Job Vacancies 2024

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of three (03) years’ of IT related experience
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering/Information Security/Computer Science/
  • Information Technology OR a Professional Graduate Diploma in British Computer Society
  • Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Preferably. Certification in CISA, CC, ISO 27001: 2022, CEH, PCI-DSS V 4.0 OR any other Information Security Certification would be an added advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with the IT team to implement and assist to manage the SIEM/SOC
  • Identify possible security breaches and conduct investigations to identify reasons for security breaches/scenarios
  • Ensure necessary regulatory requirements are fulfilled
  • Carry out periodic Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Tests, along with the
  • IT team and make recommendations to mitigate information security related risks
  • Coordinate PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 27035 assessments and audits
  • Carry out periodic Privileged Access Management (PAM) reviews

OTHER COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Sound technical knowledge in Information Security. Network Technologies. Databases and Operating Systems
  • Thorough understanding of latest security principles, techniques and protocols
  • Familiarity with web related techniques (web applications, web services etc.)
  • Sound communication/negotiation and technical writing skills
  • Should be a strong team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
