Trainee Banking Assistant

Organization: Regional Development Bank (RDB)

Applications are invited from qualified, competent and efficient young people for the following vacant position in the Regional Development Bank, the leading state development bank in Sri Lanka with 272 branches islandwide and a workforce of over 3000.

Qualifications

Should have passed 6 subjects in G.C.E. O/L with at least 5 Credit passes including Mother Language (Sinhala/Tamil) and Mathematics in one sitting. AND
Passed in G.C.E A/L with 3 passes in one sitting (excluding General English and General Knowledge).
Having passed in General English and General Knowledge in G.C.E.(A/L), working knowledge on computer applications and a second language will be considered as added qualifications.
Preference would be given at the interview for those who have actively participated and engaged in rural community activities.
Having a valid driving license will be considered an added qualification.

Age Limit: 18 – 24, Not less than 18 years and not more than 23 years as at the closing date of the applications.

Submission of Applications

The application form is available on the website of the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka www.doenets.lk under “Our Services” under “Online Applications – Recruitment Exams / E.B.Exams”, and applications can be submitted online only. The acceptance of online applications will open on 19th May 2025 at 9.00 am and will close on 19th June 2025 at 9.00 pm.
The online examination application form must be completed in English only. The Department will notify the applicant that the soft copy submitted online has been accepted / not accepted as a valid application by sending a short message (SMS) to the mobile phone number used to access the system or to the email address (E mail). Before completing the online application, download the instructions prepared for applying for the examination. Follow the instructions carefully while filling the application form. Incomplete applications will be rejected without notice.
