TECHNICIAN – Administration Department

Job Profile:

Perform various skilled, journey-level tasks in constructing, designing, installing, maintaining, calibrating, testing, and repairing electronic control systems and electrical systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including panel boards, generator exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
Perform preventive repair and maintenance of field, plant and shop electronic and electrical systems, devices, equipment and components.
Manage cabling for data, power, and telephone systems.
Maintain and repair the central air conditioning, electrical systems, and generators at the Head Office.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs while attending routine maintenance and services at the Head Office.
Address temporary power, air conditioning, and data breakdowns at the Head Office and branches.
Supervise the work involved in opening new branches.

Candidate Prerequisites:

Should have completed the G.C.E. O/Ls and possess a professional qualification from a recognized technical institution.
A certificate course in Electrical or Mechanical from a recognized organization is essential.
A minimum of 3 – 4 years of experience as a Technician in a corporate institution is required.
Experience in manufacturing, operations, or construction organizations will be an added advantage.
A good understanding of ISO standards and familiarity with 55 principles will be beneficial.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are required.
Should be able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and have the flexibility to work long hours.
