Position Overview:
The Senior Manager – Finance will be responsible for overseeing and managing the finance division’s key functions, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This includes supervising the preparation of monthly financial reports, CBSL returns, and MIS functions. The role requires a strategic approach to financial planning, analysis, and reporting while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university/professional body in the field of Accounting or Finance.
- Should be an associate member of the Institute of Bankers or similar professional body.
- Minimum of 10 years’ work experience in Banking/Finance sector.
- Thorough knowledge of tax regulations and the latest accounting pronouncement.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Sinhala languages.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Problem handling and building relationships.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking.
