Machine Learning Engineer – Internship

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled intern to join our team and assist in the development and deployment of large language model (LLM)-based applications. The intern will work with cutting-edge technology including Docker, LangChain, VectorDB, and Minikube, while helping to build the front end, using Bootstrap. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Python and SQL, with a passion for learning and staying updated on the latest trends in machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy LLM-based Applications: Work with our team to design and implement applications that leverage large language models (LLMs)
• Technology Stack: Gain hands-on experience with tools like Docker for containerization, LangChain for building language model-powered workflows and VectorDB for efficient vector search
• Web Development: Build and maintain the front end of applications using Bootstrap, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user interface
• Container Orchestration: Work with Minikube to create local Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring smooth deployment of applications
• Data Management: Utilize SQL for database management, querying. and optimization to support backend systems
• Machine Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in machine learning, ensuring the team is aware of and applying the latest advancements
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the development team to implement features and troubleshoot issues

Desirable Skills (Plus)

• Tableau: Experience with Tableau for data visualization, especially for reporting and business insights
• Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis and machine learning models

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python: Strong understanding of Python, especially in the context of machine learning and application development
• SQL Knowledge: Solid understanding of SQL for working with relational databases
• Containerization with Docker: Experience in using Docker for packaging applications and managing dependencies
• Familiarity with LangChain: Basic experience or willingness to learn LangChain for creating powerful language model workflows
• Experience with Vector DB: Knowledge or willingness to work with vector databases for semantic search
• Web Development with Bootstrap: Ability to create responsive, mobile-friendly web interfaces using Bootstrap

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated passion for technology and a keen interest in machine learning
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
