ILE/RPG400 DEVELOPER
The position of ILE/RPG400 Developer is equivalent to the grade of Manager (3-I) in the Bank. The following duties and responsibilities shall be applicable for this recruitment.
- Design, develop, and enhance business applications using ILE RPG and RPG400
- Maintain existing ILE/RPG400 applications by fixing bugs, improving performance, and applying patches.
- Test, troubleshoot, and debug ILE/RPG400 programs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Prepare test cases and perform unit testing to ensure code quality.
- Document code, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Ensure compliance with Bank policies and security standards.
Candidate Qualifications
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering/Mathematics or IT specific Degree awarded by a UGC recognized University/Institute
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with application development in ILE RPG/RPG400/ CLLE.
Age
- Preferably below the age of 56 years as at closing date of applications.
Method of Selection
Shortlisted applicants based on the stipulated qualifications and experience will be called for an interview. The appointment will be made on fixed term contract Basis.
Remuneration
An attractive and negotiable remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered to the selected candidate.
