Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, evaluate and review comprehensive credit proposals
- Conduct pre-credit evaluations and implement post-credit monitoring for facilities
- Analyze weekly reports to identify and address overdue debtors promptly
- Scrutinize loan requests and assess clients’ financial data to determine creditworthiness
- Perform in-depth credit analysis and calculate risk ratios to ensure sound lending decisions
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their financial needs and delivering tailored credit solutions
Candidate Criteria:
- Part qualification in Banking from IBSL or a Diploma in Credit Management from IBSL / SLICM, or an equivalent recognized credit-related qualification
- Minimum 05-07 years of experience in a commercial bank, including at least 03 years in a Credit Officer/Credit Analyst role or a similar capacity
- Prior experience in credit operations or specialization in corporate banking will be a distinct advantage
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, credit evaluation, and risk management processes
- High competency in financial analysis and credit risk assessment
- Strong communication, report writing, and negotiation capabilities
- Proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
