Banking Assistant: Trade related International Remittances

You should ideally,

• possess minimum 03 years of experience in a similar role processing outward remittances related to advance payments, open accounts, freight charges which are related to import and export.
• sound knowledge in preparation of MT 103
• knowledge of ICC regulations, import export control regulations and CBSL Regulations related to import and export payments.
• experience in handling queries from correspondent / nostro banks.
• experience in handling queries from branches/business units and customers
• knowledge of other Trade-related (Import/Export) products will be an added advantage

You will be mainly responsible for;

• processing payments related to advance payment, open account, freight charges related to import and export.
• preparation of payments (MT 103) related to advance payment and open account and freight charges related to import & export.
• timely responding/escalation of queries from correspondent banks, branches, business units and customers

Candidates should preferably have exposure in all above mentioned areas, however exposure in any one of the mentioned areas will also be considered for selection.
