EXECUTIVE OFFICER – DIGITAL PRODUCT TESTING & IMPLEMENTATION

Commercial Bank continues to strengthen its position as Sri Lanka’s digital banking leader. As we expand our digital ecosystem, we are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive professional to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all digital banking platforms. This role reports directly to the Manager Digital Product Testing & Implementation and plays a key part in ensuring high-quality, secure, and seamless digital experiences for millions of customers.

JOB PROFILE

Execute end-to-end UAT for mobile banking, internet banking, and all digital touchpoints.
Prepare UAT test cases, test scripts, and scenarios based on business requirements
Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and scenario-based testing.
Identify, document, and report defects with accuracy; track resolutions with IT teams
Coordinate closely with developers, BAS, product teams, and UX/UI units during testing cycles
Validate improvements, new features, bug fixes, and enhancements before release
Support automation initiatives and usage of test tools to increase efficiency.
Participate in sprint reviews, demonstrations, and release readiness assessments.
Provide input to improve UAT processes, templates, and documentation standards.
Assist in analyzing customer feedback, behavior, and digital performance insights for improvements
Ensure proper version tracking, record keeping, and test documentation for audits.

APPLICANT PROFILE

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/Business Administration or a related field which recognized by the University Grants Commission.
2-4 years’ experience in software testing, QA, UAT, or digital product environments.
Experience in digital banking or fintech platforms is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of test planning, test case development, and defect reporting
Basic knowledge of automation tools, SQL, or analytics preferred.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple testing cycles simultaneously.
