ASSISTANT MANAGER – DIGITAL PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT

Commercial Bank continues to lead Sri Lanka’s digital banking evolution, delivering world-class mobile and online banking experiences. To support our next wave of innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and quality-driven professional to strengthen our Digital Product Development team.

JOB PROFILE

Work closely with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, user-centric product experiences.
Conduct user research, analyze customer feedback, and translate insights into product improvements.
Support the development of digital product roadmaps and new product concepts.
Prepare wireframes, feature specifications, and process maps for new improvements.
Conduct Quality Assurance testing from the product perspective across mobile banking, internet banking,
merchant platforms, and admin portals.
Validate product journeys, UI/UX flows, and feature outcomes before handing over to the UAT team.
Coordinate with IT, QA teams, designers, and business teams to ensure timely releases.
Report product issues, follow up on fixes, and re-test to ensure readiness for release.
Prepare release notes and maintain records of test cycles, reports, and dashboards.
Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and trend studies to drive new product ideas.
Assist in defining KPIs, tracking performance, and continuously improving digital journeys.

APPLICANT PROFILE

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/Information Systems/Software Engineering/ Digital Banking & Finance or a related field which recognized by the University Grants Commission
Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital products, fintech, banking, technology, or related fields.
Good knowledge of product management, feature analysis, and digital product development
Exposure to UI/UX, agile practices, and digital platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple improvements, designers, and timelines.
Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
Experience in product QA or functional testing is an advantage.
