The Job
- The primary responsibility of the role is to trade in approved securities to achieve capital gains and net interest income targets, while managing company cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity while optimising returns.
- Additionally, the role involves regular review of global/local macro developments against the Company’s investment strategy, assessing portfolios to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum one year experience in a similar role. An additional two years of relevant experience is required for the Assistant Dealer position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as finance, mathematics or economics from a recognised university, or a full/part professional qualification such as CFA or CIMA will be an added advantage.
- Experience in fund management will be a definite advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
