We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacancies for the following position.

Information Security and Assurance Officer

Eligibility Criteria

Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka
Qualifications and Experience

A degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper or above in Information Security/ Cyber Security obtained from a local or foreign university, recognized by UGC of Sri Lanka
OR
A degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper or above in Computer Science/ Information Technology specializing in Information/Cyber Security obtained from a local or foreign university, recognized by UGC of Sri Lanka
AND
At least one (01) year experience in the field of Information Security, Technology Risk Management or Information Security Auditing.
Possession of following Industry accepted professional qualifications are added advantage.
CISSP and/or CISM or demonstrated technical abilities at this level, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CEH, CompTIA Pen Test+, GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), SSCP, CCNA-Security, CYSA+, GICSP,GSEC, Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP)or related certification

Other Attributes:

Positive mindset with drive and commitment to achieve bank’s objective
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Possess leadership qualities
Inter-personal skills with ability to work with team
Innovative and adaptability

Age:

30 years or below as at the closing date

Terms and Conditions

The post will be subject to the general Terms and Conditions of the Bank’s Service, but outside the normal Banking Stream (Closed Service).
Probationary period will be one (01) year and upon fulfilling the requirements of the probation period to the satisfaction of the Bank, will be confirmed in the permanent cadre of the Bank as Information Security and Assurance Officer.
Salary scale applicable to the post is :
Rs. 90,645/- Rs. 115,045/-
Rs. 1220 x 20
(The approximate initial gross salary with variable cost of living allowance is around Rs. 189,000/- Per month)
Expected to work beyond normal working hours and weekends/ holidays.

Selection Procedure

By an aptitude test and subsequent interview for shortlisted candidates based on the above eligibility criteria.
The marks obtained at the competitive examination will be used only for calling the candidates for the interview. The final selection will be on merit basis based on the marks obtained at the interview
