JOB PROFILE

• Conduct comprehensive audit reviews on Personal Banking and Head office Departments including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, Related Party Transactions, Risk Management, Credit, Finance, Treasury operations and overseas operations
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, the Bank’s policies and procedures, risk mitigation strategies and the consistent application of internal controls across all operational functions
• Prepare and maintain detailed planning documentation in line with the audit methodology
• Deliver timely, well-structured audit reports, highlighting risk implications along with actionable, cost-effective recommendations for corrective measures and qualitative improvements
• Propose value-added enhancements to existing procedures, products and services aimed at risk mitigation, cost optimization and process efficiency
• Undertake special audit assignments directed by Senior Team Leads/Chief Internal Auditor
• Exhibit flexibility and dedication to meet deadlines, including working extended hours when necessary

APPLICANT’S PROFILE

• Part qualification in CASL, ACCA, CIMA and /or a degree in Accountancy/Finance or a related field
• 3-5 years hands on experience and in depth understanding on Auditing of a Bank
• Broad understanding on Banking operations and regulatory requirements including AML Compliance / Related Party Transactions and Risk management
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex transactions and identify potential regulatory or compliance risks
• Proficiency in audit tools, data analytics software and report writing
