Executive Officer – Loan Review Mechanism Risk Division
The selected candidate will be responsible for effectively implementing the Loan Review Mechanism function and support the management in the overall Credit Risk function of the bank. These reviews will cover all aspects of the bank’s credit process including credit evaluation, approvals by delegated authority, accuracy and timeliness of assigned credit ratings, adhering to internal policies and procedures as well as applicable laws/regulations and compliance with the facility covenants. Should also handle post sanction follow up and security documentation and preparation/presentation of periodic reports to the Management/Board Sub Committees. This would further involve portfolio reviews and sharing regular updates on the market environment/banking/FI industry.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in banking of which at least 5 years should be in Credit Review related functions
- Should possesses sound knowledge of all processes relating to granting of credit, credit risk management and credit administration.
- Experience and knowledge in relation to Trade Services would be an added advantage Should be up to date on relative industry practices / regulations
- Critical thinker with analytical skills and be able to use discretion with confidential/sensitive information
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance Should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree and/or full qualification in CIMA/ACCA/CMA or equivalent professional qualification
