The National Science and Technology Commission (NASTEC), established by the Science and Technology Development Act No 11 of 1994, functions under the purview of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

NASTEC invites applications from citizens of Sri Lanka to fill the following position.

POST OF MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (MA 1-2) – 02 (Contract Basis)

Qualifications:

External Candidates:

• Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects in one sitting with credit passes for four subjects including

1. Sinhala/ Tamil
2. English language
3. Mathematics

• Having passed three subjects (other than the General Paper) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination.

Internal Candidates:

Employees of the categories of Primary Level-Skilled, Primary Level-Unskilled who possess the following qualifications are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualifications:

• Having passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in six subjects with credit passes for four subjects including

1. Sinhala/ Tamil
2. English language
3. Mathematics

Other:

• Having completed a minimum of five (05) years satisfactory service in a permanent post under the above employee category.
