Applications are invited from eligible Sri Lankan citizens for the Open Competitive Examination to be held for the recruitment to the post of Telecommunications and Radar Technician (Grade III) in the Sri Lanka Technical Service, which is vacant in the Department of Meteorology.
- Recruitment through this examination is for the post of Telecommunications and Radar Technician in the Sri Lanka Technical Service, Grade III, in the Department of Meteorology.
- Written Examination – This examination consists of the following 02 papers.
- Intelligence Test
- Subject-related Technical Paper
02. Date and Conduct of Examination: This examination will be conducted by the Commissioner General of Examinations in Colombo in October 2026.
03. The total number of vacancies to be filled is 04. In the event that the number of vacancies exceeds the number of candidates who have secured equal marks for the last vacancy or for several vacancies, the filling of that number of vacancies will be decided in accordance with the orders of the Public Service Commission in accordance with Section 92 of the Code of Procedural Rules. The effective date of the appointment will be decided by the Director General of Meteorology.
