JUNIOR EXECUTIVE/EXECUTIVE – RISK
Location – Head office
The selected candidate will be responsible for,
- Evaluating and implementing the company strategy for risk management and establishing the risk tolerance limits.
- Analyzing and continuously improving the company risk management policies in line with the latest market developments and regulations.
- Continuously assess and update the management team on the potential market, liquidity, credit and operational risks for the company and implement relevant mitigation strategies in collaboration with all the departments.
- Conducting the periodical Integrated Risk Management Committee (IRMC) in compliance with the CBSL regulations and reporting to the board on all risk areas of the company.
- Designing and implementing the procedures and a risk-oriented culture within the organization.
- Play an active role in strategy setting and corporate planning in liaising with the top management, board of directors, shareholders, customers and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in the Banking/Financial Services Sector in a similar capacity in Risk Management.
- Should possess an analytical mind with absolute attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- A degree in Banking, Finance, Management, Mathematics, Statistics or a full or partial professional qualification in Banking and Finance (IABF/DABF), CIMA or FRM.
