QA/QC Inspector – Ceypetco Job Vacancies 2026

Applications are invited for the following job vacancies at the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited.

Organization: Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited

We require the following staff on contract basis for the project team for contract administration of 6-Tanks Project at Kolonnawa Installation.

The candidate shall possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering field or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, along with a valid Welding Inspection certification such as CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI and shall have a minimum of five (05)
years of experience in the inspection, fabrication, erection, and testing of aboveground storage tanks in accordance with API 650 or works of a similar nature.
And
Qualification and certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) with Level II in Radiographic Testing (RT) and at least Level I in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Penetrant Testing (PT), in accordance with ISO 9712 or an equivalent standard.
And
Proficiency in MS Office and Auto CAD (basic).
Or
Having obtained a Certificate of Proficiency (of at least at NVQ Level 4 or equivalent) in the field of Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution, and having at least ten (10) years of working experience in the CPC/CPSTL Inspection Department, particularly in the inspection, fabrication, erection, and testing of aboveground storage tanks in accordance with API 650.
And
Qualification and certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), with Level II in Radiographic Testing (RT) and at least Level I in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Penetrant Testing (PT), in accordance with ISO 9712 or an equivalent standard.
And
Proficiency in MS Office and Auto CAD (basic).
