TEAM LEADER – CARD CENTRE
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential customers to promote credit cards.
- Lead, supervise, and guide a team of Sales Promotion Officers to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Meet Management-assigned targets within the stipulated timeframes.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and service needs.
- Conduct product awareness sessions and ensure accurate collection and verification of customer documentation.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
- Train, motivate, and monitor team performance, ensuring achievement of KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Identify emerging markets, sales channels, and promotional opportunities to drive business growth.
Eligibility Criteria
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Successfully passed a minimum of six (06) subjects at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination.
- Possess a minimum of three (03) years’ experience in target-driven sales or marketing activities; experience in
the Banking & Finance industry will be a significant advantage.
Other Attributes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong passion for delivering outstanding sales performance and customer service excellence.
- Highly professional, goal-oriented, and capable of driving innovative sales approaches.
- Possessing a valid motorcycle driving license will be an added advantage.
Age
- Age should be less than 50 years as at closing date of applications.
METHOD OF SELECTION
- Shortlisted applicants based on the stipulated qualifications and experience will be called for an interview.
Conditions of employment
- The period of the contract will be for a one year fixed term. After the expiry of the contract, his/her performance will be evaluated, and the bank will decide to renew the contract / terminate the contract.
- The performance will be evaluated monthly and bi quarterly, and the Bank retains the right to terminate the
contract if required if the performance targets have not been met.
REMUNERATION
- The Team Leader will be provided a monthly fixed allowance of Rs. 85,000/- and payment in terms of the
officially approved People’s Bank Card Sales Incentives Scheme
