Vacancies for the post of Accounts Officer in the Condominium Management Authority. (Number of vacancies is 01)
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of Accounts Officer in the Condominium Management Authority.
External Candidates
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/ Financial Management/ Business Administration/ Management Commerce recognized by the University Grants Commission.
OR - Possess an Intermediate Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Accountants (CA) of Sri Lanka or the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or the Certified Management Institute (CMA) or the Certified Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
OR - Possess a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) certificate.
Internal Candidates
- Possess the qualifications mentioned above for external candidates.
OR - Have completed five (05) years of satisfactory service in the post of Management Assistant (Technical) Service Category II (Bookkeeper) in the Condominium Management Authority.
Salary Scale
JM 1-1- 6.72,650 – 10 x 1,360 – 18 x 2,040 = 122,970
Salary will be paid in a phased manner up to 2027.01.01 as per Schedule II of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025.
All allowances and living expenses as approved by the Government will be paid.
Must not be less than 22 years of age and not more than 45 years of age.
The upper age limit does not apply to internal applicants.
Every candidate,
- must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties assigned to the post and to serve in any part of the island.
- Must be of excellent character.
General conditions relating to the post
- This post is permanent and non-pensionable. 10% of the employee and 15% of the employer contribute to the Employees Provident Fund and 3% of the employer contributes to the Employees Trust Fund.
- Applicants from State Corporations / Statutory Boards should submit applications through their Heads of Institutions.
- Selection will be made on the basis of merit in the structured interview.
- Names and addresses of two non-relatives from whom the applicant can obtain reports should be submitted with the application.
- Photocopies of educational, other certificates and certificates of experience should be attached to the application.
- Applicants must meet all the eligibility criteria by the closing date for applications.
