01.Chef (4 posts)
- External Applicants
Educational Qualifications – 1. Passes in at least two (02) subjects at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination.
Vocational Qualifications
The technical competence required for a chef should be at least equivalent to the National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q) Level II or III as determined by the Vocational and Vocational Education Commission.
- Internal Applicants
Educational Qualifications – Passes in at least two (02) subjects at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination.
Experience and Technical Skills:
Employees belonging to the Primary (PL1) Service Category with 05 years of experience in the profession of chef and proficiency not less than NVQ Level 2 confirmed in a vocational test relevant to the duties of the post from a Vocational Training Institute

PL 2-2025 (Rs. 42,300 – 10X400-10X540-10X500-12X630-Rs. 66,060)
02. Canteen Worker (5 Posts)
Educational Qualifications: General Certificate of Education (with at least two (02) subjects passed in the Ordinary Level Examination.
Salary System: PL 1-2025 (Rs.40,500-10X450-10X490-7X540-15X590-Rs.62,530)
03. Computer Technician (1 post)
- External Applicants
Professional Qualifications
A Certificate of Proficiency in Computer Repair/Motor Vehicle Repair issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institution recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission at a level not less than National Vocational Qualification (NV.Q) Level Four (04).
- Internal Applicants
Professional Qualifications Five (5) years of experience in the relevant field and a Trade Test at a level not less than National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q) Level Two (02) from a Technical College/Vocational Training Institution that is relevant to the duties of the relevant post, with a pass in a Trade Test at a level not less than Primary Semi-Technical (PL2) or Primary Non-Technical (PL 1) Professional Qualifications for Employees

04. Motor Mechanic (1 Post)
(The qualifications and salary scheme given for the post of Computer Technician are also applicable to this post.)
Other
- External applicants should be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years of age. The maximum age limit does not apply to internal applicants.
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Should be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties assigned to the post and to serve in any part of the island.
- Should be of excellent character.
Nature of Appointment:
Permanent, Employee Eligible for Provident Fund and Employees’ Trust Fund.
